ABOUT ME

Cheryle Peterson, DNP, APRN, FNP-C is a doctoral-prepared nurse practitioner at Genesis Telehealth who is strongly committed to serving the Las Vegas, Nevada, community. Cheryle Peterson offers virtual telemedicine appointments to help adult patients with many routine and urgent health care needs. She often treats patients who have COVID-19, colds, flu, asthma flare-ups, rashes, or nausea and vomiting. 

Cheryle Peterson has been board-certified by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing(AACN) since 2016. She earned her undergraduate degree at Nevada State College in Henderson, Nevada. She went on to earn her master’s and doctorate degrees at South University. Cheryle Peterson has worked as a registered nurse in critical care settings, including intensive care and cardiac units. As a family nurse practitioner, she gained experience in emergency rooms and urgent care settings for several years. 

At Genesis Telehealth, Cheryle Peterson is a strong advocate for patient-centered care. She believes that telemedicine is an accessible and affordable way for patients to get exceptional care that’s tailored to their needs.  Cheryle Peterson is passionate about continuing education and staying current with the latest advances in medical treatments and technology, as it allows her to provide the very best in remote health care to her patients.
